Breast Reduction in Ft. Myers

Breast reduction (also known as reduction mammoplasty) helps women achieve a healthier, more proportionate balance to their body by removing breast tissue, skin, and fat. The procedure does more than just reduce the size of the breasts – it also gives a lifting effect to improve breast appearance. Some women with large breast have a hard time deciding how much smaller they would like their breasts to be. During your consultation, Dr. Campanile will examine your breasts and offer his recommendation for a post-surgical size that will be more comfortable and still maintain an attractive overall body shape. During your breast enhancement in Ft. Myers, in addition to Dr. Campanile's surgical skill, you will be cared for by a highly-trained staff in La Bellezza's relaxing and comfortable environment. Your Breast Reduction Procedure

This procedure is performed under general anesthesia. During breast reduction surgery, Dr. Campanile begins by making an anchor-shaped incision on the lower part of the breast and around the areola (the dark skin surrounding the nipple). Short-Scar techniques are also available. Through this incision he removes excess fat, tissue, and skin. The nipple is repositioned on the breast, with Dr. Campanile using methods that preserve nipple sensation whenever possible. Recovery takes about 1 to 2 weeks for normal activities, with more strenuous activities being added back in after 3 to 4 weeks. Some scarring will remain, but scars fade out substantially for most patients over time.

You've lived with uncomfortably large breasts long enough. Dr. Campanile and the staff at La Bellezza are here to help you enjoy greater freedom and comfort with breast reduction. Request a consultation online or call 239-225-0333 to schedule your appointment.
